Ushers are the “helping hands” of the church and are extremely valuable and vitally important to all of the services and ministries of Praise Chapel. They are the doorkeepers of the House of the Lord; the stewards of the temple. Ushers provide security for the congregation, maintain order within the services, assist the clergy when necessary, and much more. The Ushers' Ministry is comprised of dedicated, determined men and women who willingly serve God by serving His people.

The attitude the usher demonstrates in the church plays a large part in how well order is maintained. The usher’s responsibilities must not be taken lightly, and ushers should demonstrate a serious, yet friendly tone when performing their duties. Security and safety in the sanctuary should always be at the forefront of every action undertaken by the usher.
