Will Rogers said, “You never get a second chance
to make a first impression.” At Praise Chapel through our Greeting
Ministry, we strive to make a positively lasting first impression by
connecting with our visitors in the most hospitable way possible.
The attitude of the Greeter in the foyer of the church affects the
rest of the worship and ministry experience during service. More
than saying "Hi, welcome to Praise Chapel," our Greeting Team is
dedicated to providing a genuine Christ-like first impression.
Whether handing out bulletins, or providing direction for those who
are new or lost, our greeters are here to love each person who
enters the church.
The team may include couples, singles, seniors,
youth, or entire family units. The primary duty of the team is to extend
our hospitality at the main entrance and throughout the sanctuary.
Participants hand out our weekly church bulletin, introduce themselves
and others, give directions to classrooms for the children, offer gifts
of appreciation, and assist newcomers to any specific area of the
building that they have not visited.
